SAFVA FILM CATALOGUE FOR HK FILMART 2026
In 2024, Sabah Film and Visual Arts Association (SAFVA) proudly participated in TIFFCOM – Tokyo International Film Festival Content Market, marking a historic step in promoting Sabah’s film industry to the Japanese and global markets. SAFVA showcased 16 remarkable works from Sabah, highlighting the region’s rich culture, unique storytelling, and breathtaking landscapes.
With a mission to elevate the Borneo brand, SAFVA actively engaged with international buyers, distributors, and production partners, forging new collaborations and opportunities for local filmmakers. This milestone reflects our commitment to putting Borneo on the world map, proving that Sabah’s creative industry is ready to shine on the global stage.
